For every purchase made, a box of feminine products will be donated to a local women’s shelter.
In Canada, it is estimated that women spend up to 6,000 dollars on period products in their lifetime. Low income women, women on social assistance and those suffering from homelessness can find it difficult to allocate funds to monthly period products. Even though Canada eliminated the tax on menstrual hygiene products (tampon tax), the high cost of these items still causes them to be out of reach for some women.
